Even a nursery or day-care centre needs to be updated, renovated or expanded from time to time. However, parents in Salzbergen did not have to worry about restrictions for their children or being unable to find someone to look after them. The local council rented mobile day-care containers from ELA at short notice for the duration of the extension work at the St. Marien day-care facility.
The feedback: ‘Thanks to expert advice from a member of ELA’s field staff, we were able to create a container village for the kids at the nursery that was functional and visually appealing. Furthermore, lots of details were adapted to allow the children to play in the container rooms safely and without a care.’
Safety, comfort and room climate are the top priorities for nursery containers from ELA. Lots of little details from the outer doors with panic locks to raised door handles, smoke detectors and finger trap protection let the children play and romp around without a care in the world. Air-conditioning units and acoustic panels add more comfort and a healthy room climate in the container nursery.
Overall, the container system has around 300 square metres of usable area divided into spacious group rooms, offices, function rooms, a kitchen and a sanitary area. The tendering architecture firm WBR ARCHITEKTEN.INGENIEURE is also happy with how the container nursery has been built: ‘The process was simple and speedy. The quotation was produced quickly and delivery by ELA Container’s own lorries and assembly also went without a hitch.’
